La Locanda, Volpaia (Radda in Chianti):
Guido and Martina Bevilacqua, with their dog Boileau, are the delightful owners of this wonderful small inn in the heart of Chianti. You will be received like guests in their own house in very welcoming and well appointed rooms and served breakfast and dinner either in their dining room or in a beautiful patio. The pool has a view difficult to surpass ! It is the perfect starting point for explorations in the countryside but also as a moment to ease off and relax during a busy vacation.
Hotel Orto dei Medici, Florence:
This hotel was reopened in 2002 and is a very nice three star bed and breakfast. It has a very welcoming feeling and it is run very much like someone‚s home, in a warm and friendly way. The rooms on the top floors have stunning views over the church of San Marco and on the rooftops of Florence. It‚s located a block away from the Museum of the Accademia and just a 5 minute walk from the major monuments, but in a very quiet area. The owners, Emilio and Giacomo Bufalini (father and son) are very old friends of ours.
Villa Poggio S. Felice:
A countryside with the characteristics of a work of art, a natural amphitheatre where architecture and landscape perfectly fuse together: this is the enchanting scene which we behold in the hills of Pian dei Giullari. From here our villa overlooks Florence and opens its doors to all of those who wish to spend a holiday in a complete relaxtion only a few kilometres from the historical centre of town.
Our house has great charm and elegance, typical of Tuscan villas: you can feel free to find your own cosy corner in the reading room, the sitting room, the satellite TV room and the dining room where you will be able to rediscover and savour our rich breakfast.
Albergotto:
The ALBERGOTTO is situated in the heart of Florence, on the via de' Tornabuoni, at the corner of via della Vigna Nuova. Its windows overlook these two elegant streets, as well as the marvellous Palazzo Strozzi. The ALBERGOTTO continues the tradition of the "casa albergo", dating from the days when it was appreciated and frequented by famous visitors such as Verdi, Donizzetti, Gounaud and George Eliot (to whom there is a plaque on the façade). Recently the ALBERGOTTO has been carefully restructured and guests will find rooms equipped with every modern comfort, elegantly furnished with antique furniture (including family heirlooms), each one different from all the others, quiet and with delightful views.

The palace was built in the middle of the 13th century by the gianfigliazzi family where it remain until the 17th century. From the beginning of the XXth century, the residence was home to english aristocrats and intellectuals charmed by Florence. The roof terrace and a book, enjoy a drink or semply live la dolce vita overlooking the red rooftos of Florentine life. Twelve spectacular rooms all with a unique view of the city.
